Broken Pipe in Office Building

Water Damage in Commercial Building

SERVPRO of St. Charles / Geneva / Batavia was called early one morning by the facility manager who opened up the offices. He knew there was a big problem when you turn on the lights and the floor shone back at him. A 3threeinch pipe hat frozen and broken during the night and ended up flooding the entire floor.

It did take a couple of hours to extract all the water from the floor. Part of the process is to remove the baseboards from around the walls because the drywall dry wall had wicked up water. A strategic plan for drying was laid out and we placed our air movers and humidifiers.
